Between 2014 and 2017, Christy went on several house concert and festival-driven tours with solo artist Brodie Dawson and her band, plus later, with the female powered trio She Could Be Trouble (Brodie Dawson, Christy Vanden, and Tracy Riley). These tours took place across B.C and Alberta, with a westcoast focus.

In 2017 she shifted into a different role, playing lead guitar and singing backup vocals for Canadian Idol contestant, Karen Lee Batten on a spring/summer mini tour which included all 3 days at the Williams Lake Stampede, Tinhorn Creek Winery in the Okanagan and the sold out Gone Country Twins Cancer Fundraiser in Vancouver. She also played lead guitar and sang backup vocals for Alberta Country Music Awards nominated artist Garrett Gregory at the Williams Lake Stampede.

Now back in the Comox Valley, Christy is touring solo with her uplifting fingerstyle acoustic guitar melodies and original compositions from her instrumental EP, "Unexpected Road", mixing in her favourite folk, jazz, blues, and pop songs, covered in her own style. You will also find her singing lead/backing vocals and playing lead guitar in Valley-favourite dance band Time Well Wasted throughout the year.
